Cute Keycaps
To those new to the keyboard community, the level of detail and precision that exists to describe the various components of a keyboard can be staggering. The language keyboard enthusiasts have developed to describe the experience of using a keyboard rivals the language used to describe the experience of drinking fine wine.
This post won't be focusing on the intricacies of creamy vs. thocky sounds or the latest silent switches. Instead, I'll be highlighting some keycap sets that can add some whimsy to your everyday typing experience and make replying to even the most dreaded of emails just a little bit less of a chore.
Keycaps are the (usually) square or rectangular covers of keyboards' keys that you directly touch while typing. On mechanical keyboards, they can be easily replaced to give your setup a personality of its own. I've rounded up some adorable examples:

This red panda-themed keycap set is bursting with warm autumnal hues.

When you'd rather be at the beach, this beach-themed keycap set has you covered.

Or maybe the mountains are more your thing? This forest-themed set has road trip vibes.

The puffy profile of these bread-themed keycaps adds to their loafiness, but may be slightly more difficult to type on than typical concave keycaps.

The strawberry arrow keys are my favorite part of this strawberry-themed set.

This keycap set is pretty minimalist for also being rainbow-themed.

I found the dairy-themed keycap set I currently use on AliExpress a few years ago. Astoundingly, it's actually decreased in price since then.
