Cute Keycaps
Over the last five years, there's been an explosion of options for cute keyboards - and specifically, cute keycaps. Keycaps are the little plastic pieces that you type on. On mechanical keyboards, they can be easily replaced to give your keyboard a personality of its own.
For those new to the keyboard community, the level of detail and precision that exists to describe the various components of a keyboard is staggering. The language that's been developed to describe the experience of using a keyboard rivals the language used to describe fine wines.
This post won't be focusing on the intricacies of creamy vs. thocky sounds or the latest silent switches. Instead, I'll be highlighting some keycap sets that can add some whimsy to your everyday typing experience and make replying to even the most dreaded of emails just a little bit less of a chore.

I found the dairy-themed keycap set I currently use on AliExpress a few years ago. Astoundingly, it's actually decreased in price since then.

The puffy profile of these bread-themed keycaps contributes to their convincing loafiness, but may be slightly more difficult to type on.

The strawberry arrow keys are my favorite part. And if I had a keyboard with a numpad, I'd be all over that checkerboard pattern.

Another strawberry keycap set, this time in pastel pink and green with gingham details.
